BR040

 

 

Ansonia Copper & Brass BR040 is a moderate to high strength filler metal containing Nickel and manganese to improve wetability.

 

Joining:   BR040 is suitable for Induction, Furnace, or Torch and Gas-air burner joining.

 

 

Applications:  Typically used for Mining and Construction tool brazing, providing moderate to high strength when joining Carbides (Tungsten or other) to alloy steels where Zinc is acceptable. Mine tool bit joining is especially effective.

 

 

Applicable Specifications:  Internal Specification ACB BR040 

 

Standard Forms Available:  Round wire and Flat Wire.  For other forms, please inquire.
