Heat treating involves a combination of heating and cooling operation applied to a metal or alloy in the solid state to produce changes in phyiscal and mechanical properties. Between draw bench passes, we often use annealing and cleaning processes to soften and clean the metal, all steps according to the mill ticket plan. We use a variety of pointing and lubrication methods to enable the draws to be made. |
